The EQrated vol. 7

Hello Reader,

They say time seems to speed up when you are having fun and slows down when you are not.

The pandemic has a way of disorienting the best of us. It turns out that getting ready, going to work, Monday meetings and weekend parties are more than just ways to mark the passage of time on the calendar. These little rituals, appointments and schedules orient us, ground us and help us find our place in the infinite expanse of time and space. As you are setting goals for the coming year, we are dedicating this volume of EQrated to TIME - all the ways we use it and lose it. Here's to a productive 2021!

Hello Reader, As December rolls around, we see many news articles and posts about the "Year in Review". Depending on your reading habits and media consumption, I'm guessing you have seen at least one such article. Spotify has even made a whole marketing campaign out of it. Since 2016, #SpotifyWrapped dissects our listening choices for the entire year. What started as a rudimentary list of our favorite songs has now evolved into a slick presentation with brightly colored graphics and multiple...

Hello Reader, Trust is a tenuous thing. Once broken it takes a long time to rebuild trust. Trust is also a very tenacious feeling. When given freely, it takes a lot to shake someone's trust. As human beings we are predisposed to trust other people. When faced with a new situation most people would like to start on a positive note - by giving the benefit of doubt.
